Competitor pricing as published on their own sites, July 2026. Your payment gateway still charges its standard processing fee on each gift; that is between you and your gateway, we take nothing.

And where your gifts go.

1

A guest gives a gift

They pick a fund on your wedding site and pay securely by card.

2

Your own payment gateway

The payment runs through your own gateway account, connected with your own keys.

3

Your bank account

Your gateway settles to your account on its normal schedule. No waiting for a platform payout.

Our Big Yes is never in the chain. Your gift money never routes through us, never sits in our account, and never carries our fee. 0% platform fee, always.

Pricing questions.

Why is it so cheap when big platforms are free?

Free platforms earn from your wedding another way: a percentage of your cash gifts, registry commissions, or advertising. We charge one honest fee upfront and take nothing after that. On most weddings, our price is less than the fees a free platform would quietly collect from your gifts.

Are there really no fees on gifts?

We charge 0%, always. Your own payment gateway charges its standard card processing fee on each gift, the same fee it charges any business that uses it. That money goes to your gateway, not to us, and the rest settles directly into your account.

Who pays $29 and who pays R399?

Couples anywhere in the world pay $29. South African couples pay in rand, R399. Same product, same features, one payment either way.

Does our site expire?

No. Some once-off competitors quietly stop hosting your site after 6 to 24 months unless you start paying monthly. Your Our Big Yes site stays up through the wedding and after it.

What if it is not for us?

You only pay when you publish, so you can build the entire site, load guests and set up your registry before spending anything. If something goes wrong after that, write to [email protected] and we will make it right.
